1998 - the band kicks off with a selection of Tarantino Movie Songs (Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs, Desperado, True Romance, From Dusk till Dawn, etc..)
Specialized on 50‘s rockabilly and 60‘s surf music - country, blues, ska & punk - has a noticeabale impact on the Curtis Jensen sound.
After beeing featured at the first „Tarantino Movie Night“ at the cult club U4 / Vienna, promoters all over the country calls for a „Tarantino Night“.
1999 - Finair invited Curtis Jensen to play in Helsinki at the Hartwall Arena. Das Österreichische Bundeskanzleramt booked them to play live at Heldenplatz.
They played open air „Am Graben“ and a numerous of arrangements for „Armstrong Business Events“, just to put name on some of it. (see below)
2002 - the first album “From Pulp Til Dawn“ was released with support from Kingpin, Chrysler and a number of local Skateboard / Beachcruiser / Hot Rod Dealers.
Their tuned-up versions of 12 Tarantino Movie Songs were right on spot. The release party at the cult location U4 in Vienna turned into a blast !
2006 - the band released the second album “Original Soundtrash“, containing 12 self penned tracks.
“Linger if you‘re torn“, was the first original Curtis Jensen song to become international radio-airplay.
2008 - the album “JNSN! - UnderCover“ were recorded and mixed in 24 hours.
Due to the cover versions only, the band decided to keep it self-labled. (Youtube featured)
2012 - the album “Gaining The Edge“ was released. All original songs.
The band focus on digital distrubution. 11.000 downloads during the first 12 months, were the result !
2016 - for the Vintage Rhythm‘n‘Blues tribute „HOT ROD SPECIAL“ the band appears as a Quartett.
With an additonal Saxophone player and the equipment set to vintage, the sound increases around the mid 40‘s & early 50‘s.
2018 - back as a trio, the band release the song „Rockabilly Freakout Maschine“ in corporation with Hot Rod Hangar,
Written and performed by Knud Tiroch & Curtis Jensen, about the Rockabilly Freakout `49 Mercury - build by the Hot Rod Hangar.
